MP3 download of Soon Comes Night to fulfill all your digital musical desires. Do they even still make CD players? We’re awfully confused about how to play these things these days and our laser disc player only wants to show us the 1968 hit musical ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ written by Roald Dahl and Ian Flemming whenever we try playing it. Hopefully you’ll have better luck with it and at least the melodies in the aforementioned film are equally as catchy if you also get stuck with that when attempting to play it.
PDF tab download for the hit Carling & Will tune ‘Indian Summer’ from Soon Comes Night. By far probably the best tune Carling & Will have and will ever write even though it’s in a super weird tuning you may never use again and find annoying to always have to tune to when jamming with friends. It was really all Carling who wrote it as we all know Will can’t really play the banjo but he helped by showing her a G chord on the banjo years before so he probably contributed something? Well, it’s not in the key of G so probably not but we’ll let him keep thinking he helped somehow so he doesn’t feel too left out.
PDF tab download for “Freshly Fucked Fox in a Forest Fire’ from ‘Soon Comes Night’. Wait…can we say that word without censuring it? Is this offensive? Why is there an offensive word in an instrumental tunes title? Yikes. Is this actually ‘Big Footed Sandy Man in Sandy Candy Land’ or some tune that’s named something like that? We’ll probably never know for sure, old-time music all sounds the same anyway. We apologize for Will’s mediocre fiddling on the recording, he’s since given it up for the glass harmonica and has been applauded for it because that thing is way too heavy and delicate to bring out of the house and put on stage.
PDF tab download for ‘Black Creek’ from ‘Soon Comes Night’ when you’re too cheap to buy the snazzy printed version in the new song book. Holy moly this tune is weird to play, are we sure Will even knows how to play the banjo correctly? He probably just flailed around on the thing for months and got really lucky with this one. Pretty sure he recorded it a couple notes at a time with something like 200+ takes pieced together to accomplish it decently enough to put on the album after we swept it with auto-tune. I think there’s also a ton of other tunes named ‘Black Creek’ so what’s that about?
The 2020 Carling & Will album that was delay released at the height of the COVID pandemic. It’s kind of amazing anyone actually heard this thing, isn’t it? Has everyone’s favorite tune ‘Indian Summer’ on it as well as that one with the swear word in the title that you have to explain to your kids because there’s no reason a swear word should be in an instrumental tune’s title unless you’re just trying to be edgy for the sake of being edgy. It also has some really moody electric guitar all over it. Will was in a phase but don’t worry, he worked through it and now he mostly just plays moody pedal steel instead.

‘Soon Comes Night’ on vinyl with illegible scribbles on the cover that are either a toddlers whimsical prose or possibly just Carling with a Sharpie in each hand letting it fly. She’s ambidextrous don’t you know! Is it really worth more money if it’s actually signed by each of them? Are we sure that it shouldn’t cost less? I mean they have to open it to sign it so it should probably be sold as used. Camel not included.

‘Soon Comes Night’ 2nd pressing vinyl. We cleaned up the artwork a little and made it a little sharper and crisper because Will is a mediocre graphic designer and kinda messed up the first time. We also changed the paper sleeve to black so it’s classier all round. If you bought the first pressing, we’re sorry that this one is slightly better but you should probably just buy it again and give someone else the other one to keep the nicer one for yourself and give yourself a pat on the back for being such a kind and generous friend.

The snappy new album from Carling & Will on a plastic shiny disc that most people don’t have the means to play anymore. Please don’t ask us where to find a CD player… we’re still trying to get our 90s Sony boombox to stop skipping and prevent it from only successfully playing ‘Maneater’ by Hall & Oates on repeat no matter what CD is put into it.
The snappy new album from Carling & Will featuring all original tunes and songs. Can also be used as a mediocre unpredictable frisbee and may even work well as a dinner plate if you don’t mind a couple tasty morsels slipping through the hole in the center and it warping if you put something too hot on it. Maybe that will help keep the food on it though? It has a really fun picture on the cover and it’s physically bigger than the CD version so it’s worth a couple more bucks for that reason alone I guess. Hold on, what’s a mongoose? It probably has wings, right?
